| "Another turning point;
a fork stuck in the road.
Time grabs you by the wrist;
directs you where to go.
So make the best of this test
and don't ask why.
It's not a question
but a lesson learned in time.
It's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
So take the photographs
and still frames in your mind.
Hang it on a shelf
In good health and good time.
Tattoos of memories
and dead skin on trial.
For what it's worth,
it was worth all the while.
It's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
(music break)
It's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
It's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life."
So, here I am. Sitting alone in my apartment eating yogurt and granola on a Friday night. This is what my life has amounted to thus far. I was looking through some old stuff, specifically Kapelle affirmation books, and have just been feeling overall sentimental and nostalgic toward everything that life was, compared with what it is now. And, well, it is kind of depressing.
But God is good, and this is what we are called to do, so we press on.
Thanks for listening.

If you're going to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you're going to San Francisco
You're gonna meet some gentle people there
For those who come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
In the streets of San Francisco
Gentle people with flowers in their hair
All across the nation such a strange vibration
People in motion
There's a whole generation with a new explanation
People in motion people in motion
For those who come to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
If you come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
I won't be wearing any flowers in my hair... but I'll be there in just three days!!!
Thanks for listening.

| I've paid my dues - Time after time - I've done my sentence But committed no crime - And bad mistakes I've made a few I've had my share of sand kicked in my face - But I've come through
We are the champions - my friends And we'll keep on fighting - till the end - We are the champions - We are the champions No time for losers 'Cause we are the champions - of the world -
I've taken my bows And my curtain calls - You brought me fame and fortuen and everything that goes with it - I thank you all -
But it's been no bed of roses No pleasure cruise - I consider it a challenge before the whole human race - And I ain't gonna lose -
We are the champions - my friends And we'll keep on fighting - till the end - We are the champions - We are the champions No time for losers 'Cause we are the champions - of the world -
Kind of hard to believe that after two years this song still brings tears to my eyes as I recall the White Sox winning the World Series. Call me a sap or what you will, but I was darn proud of them, and this song just kind of exemplifies that, and they played it after the game. And it's got all kinds of other real-life applications and implications as well. Thanks for listening. | | |

RAOUL
No more talk of darkness,
Forget these wide-eyed fears
I'm here, nothing can harm you
my words will warm and calm you
Let me be your freedom,
let daylight dry your tears.
I'm here with you, beside you,
to guard you and to guide you...
CHRISTINE
Say you love me every waking moment,
turn my head with talk of summertime...
Say you need me with you now and always...
Promise me that all you say is true
that's all I ask of you
RAOUL
Let me be your shelter
let me be your light
You're safe, No one will find you
your fears are far behind you...
CHRISTINE
All I want is freedom,
a world with no more night
and you, always beside me, to hold me and to hide me...
RAOUL
Then say you'll share with me
one love, one lifetime
let me lead you from your solitude
Say you need me with you here, beside you...
anywhere you go, let me go too
Christine, that's all I ask of you...
CHRISTINE
Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime...
say the word and I will follow you...
Share each day with me,
each night, each morning...
Say you love me...
RAOUL
You know I do...
BOTH
Love me - that's all I ask of you
Anywhere you go let me go too
Love me - that's all I ask of you...
Thanks for listening.

| The long and winding road
that leads to your door
will never disappear
I've seen that road before
It always leads me her
Lead me to you door
The wild and windy night
that the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears
crying for the day
Why leave me standing here
let me know the way
Many times I've been alone
and many times I've cried
Any way you'll never know
the many ways I've tried
But still they lead me back
to the long winding road
You left me standing here
a long long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here
lead me to your door
But still they lead me back
to the long winding road
You left me standing here
a long long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here
lead me to your door
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
thanks for listening.
